Sean Gann

Mr. Gann founded Touchstone Builders, Inc. in 2004 to serve the needs of the multi-family housing industry. Since that time, he has overseen the renovation or construction of more than 2,000 units of apartment housing. Because of this experience, Mr. Gann takes a more active role in the design and pre-construction aspects of the firm’s projects than is customary for a construction manager. He often provides clients with value engineering and product recommendations based on important owner issues such as: expected maintenance requirements and durability, energy consumption, disruption to occupied buildings, and installation cost. 

Prior to founding Touchstone Builders, Mr. Gann worked for ten years at two mid-sized New York City-based construction firms where he was employed as both a project manager and project executive. In his role as project executive, Mr. Gann managed a staff of 12 project managers and superintendents for the four years prior to starting his own firm. During this time, he built more than 1,000,000 square feet of office space before changing focus to the redevelopment of multi-family housing properties. This experience was invaluable in establishing a diverse construction background and shaping the management philosophies needed to lead Touchstone Builders. 

Mr. Gann holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from The University of Vermont.
