Mr. Rogers serves as a Project Executive with Touchstone Builders and works hand-in-hand with our developer partners to oversee large, complex projects for the firm. He has over 20 years of experience in construction and real estate development.
He recently completed the planning and construction of a $60M project, which included building demolition, extensive sitework, and a new 11-story apartment building consisting of 179 units of workforce housing. This project, located in Westchester County, NY, also includes the new construction of parking garage and community center.
Prior to joining Touchstone Builders, he held the position of Director of Real Estate at Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. (NYSE: OHI), a Real Estate Investment Trust that invests in long-term senior care facilities. While at Omega, his primary focus was to evaluate properties under acquisition and supervise the development and construction of Maplewood Senior Living’s portfolio in NY, CT, NJ, and MA. Prior to joining Omega, Mark served as an Estimator and Project Manager for a Boston-area Construction Manager for 14 years, completing a wide variety of projects from ground-up hotels to core and shell retail developments as well as many complex renovation projects across various industry sectors.
Mr. Rogers values honesty, transparency, and integrity. He builds strong relationships with key stakeholders, and his can-do attitude allows him to overcome challenging situations and achieve success with each project. With an acute attention to detail and superb organization skills, he leads projects with confidence and is sensitive to the client’s time and budget constraints. He enjoys his work and is fortunate to have had many repeat clients and partners over the years.
Mr. Rogers earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Vermont and is also a LEED AP.
