Mark Beida, P.E.

Mr. Beida has spent his 30-year career in the real estate development and construction industries. He has participated as a principal in numerous affordable housing development and construction projects and served as the Executive Vice President of a closely-held, New York-based Real Estate Developer focused on the development of affordable multifamily housing for over ten years. In addition to his role at Touchstone Builders, Mr. Beida currently maintains an ownership interest in over 800 units of affordable rental housing. 

Mr. Beida brings his development experience to each construction project Touchstone undertakes, giving him a unique ability to make project decisions from the perspective of a long-term owner. Mr. Beida takes great pride in producing beautiful, high-quality, energy-efficient buildings that the entire project team and, most importantly, the residents can be proud of.

Mr. Beida was initially trained as a Civil Engineer, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from The University of Vermont, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of New York (inactive) and Connecticut. He later earned an MBA with a specialization in Finance from Columbia Business School.
