Greenburgh Housing

This full gut renovation with asbestos abatement included 85 townhouse units in 25 buildings across 5 different sites.

After demo, all underground sanitary sewer mains were replaced under each building. Extensive framing repairs due to rot / termites was then completed, followed by all new MEP systems including a Mitsubishi VRF heat pump systems for every room.

The building envelopes were modernized and upgraded with new windows, roofing, siding and insulation. Site improvements included new playgrounds, parking lots / paths, lighting, furniture and security cameras.

Built during the height of the COVID-19 supply chain disruptions, Touchstone’s team pre-purchased materials and equipment for all 25 buildings and warehoused it to lock in pricing and availability, ensuring on-time completion and protecting the project from material cost escalations.
