Touchstone partnered with the NRP Group to build 179 new apartments, a Boys & Girls Club, and a 354 vehicle, precast parking garage in the City of New Rochelle.
The scope required the demolition of the existing Boys & Girls club as well as extensive sitework and utility relocations.
The 11-story apartment building was constructed on 120-ton steel H-piles and includes a block and plank structure with brick, EIFS, and metal panel facade. The building includes a roof deck, fitness center, and resident lounge.
The Boys & Girls club consists of a steel-framed structure with metal panel façade system that houses a gym, basketball court, music and podcast studio, and kitchen. The new facility is nearly twice the size the existing building, built in 1953.
The garage includes a precast structure supported on concrete foundations with ground improvements.
