The St. Ann’s Portfolio project included the moderate rehab of 6 walk-up buildings in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. Built in the early 1900s, the portfolio was well-maintained, but many building components had reached the end of their useful lives.
The scattered site project included asbestos and lead abatement as well as a full lighting replacement, critical upgrades to the building systems and envelopes, and aging-in-place accommodations for several units.
Energy efficiency upgrades included all new low-e / Argon-filled windows, new high-efficiency boilers, LED lighting, additional roof insulation, and air sealing measures.
The building envelope was improved with new roofs and various façade repairs and coatings.
The project received funding through NYC HPD / HDC.
