Agata Omylak

Ms. Omylak is the Controller for Touchstone Builders and has been with the company since 2007.  She oversees all aspects of the company’s finances, risk management, regulatory compliance, and human resources. 

In her role, Ms. Omylak is responsible for all project accounting including financial reporting, client requisitions, and management of receivables and trade payables.  She also oversees all banking activities, payroll, and money management.  Ms. Omylak implements the company’s risk management procedures including Touchstone’s general liability, umbrella, and worker’s comp programs, subcontractor and vendor insurance and indemnification tracking, subcontract compliance, waivers of lien, etc.  She takes an active part in preparing annual financial, workers compensation, general liability insurance audits.

Ms. Omylak also supervises the company’s regulatory / compliance activities common to the affordable / multifamily housing industry.  These include Davis-Bacon wage reporting (using the Elations platform), M/WBE and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) utilization, Section 3 compliance, and quarterly workforce reporting for NYS HCR and NYC HPD.  Additionally, she reviews and confirms staff training and certifications in OSHA requirements, NYC safety certifications, sexual harassment training, etc. 

Ms. Omylak holds Master of Science degree from CW Post Long Island University.  Ms. Omylak is also a Notary Public for the State of New York.
